Sleepy Daddy

Sleepy Daddy. But what a good daddy he is! My girls and I are so blessed to have this wonderful man for a father and a husband. He is soooo wonderful. He is so helpful in every way. He LOVES his girls. And his girls LOVE him too.

Nap time!!

These are the little moments that I love the most. I will cherish them always. Getting my sweet little girls ready for their nap time. They look so sweet all snug under their blankets.

Ella loves for me to read to her before she drifts off to sleep. I love it too. I then find myself staring at her after she drifts off to sleepy town. I think to myself sometimes..... Where has time gone. Who is this little girl in my bed. Where is my baby? I promised myself to always try to stop and take it all in. Time flies..... and before I know it my girls will be grown. They are changing each day. I now understand what my mom meant when she use to say..."it seems like just yesterday that you were my little girl"

Meet Allie Claire Barefield!!!

 Meet the newest addition to the Barefield Family.... Introducing....Allie Claire Barefield! Thank you God for this incredible gift! Thank you God for allowing me to be the mommy of these two precious little girls that you have given me. I will forever be gratful!

aIt seems like just yesterday that I was holding Ella Brooke in my arms. I remember thinking.... this is it....this is love at first sight. I remember that very moment being so life changing. You know you hear it the whole 9 months that your pregnant, but it never really means anything until it's really there in front of you or your living it. I could not have asked for a  better partner in all of this. Matt is the best Daddy ever! He just picked right up like he was a pro at this. I have friends asking me all the time about how involved that he is and all that he does. I can honestly say that he does it from his heart and that he loves "his girls"!

We had several wedding to attend over the summer. Ella would get very excited every time we would get ready to go because she loves to dance at the receptions. I don't know what I'm gonna do when we have to take her to a reception with out music or a dj. She loves to dance!! I love to watch!!!!

Ella Brooke was like a little fish this summer. She would wake every day and ask to go swimming. And for the most part, we did pretty much swim every day..... somewhere. Her are just a few of my favorites.

The Barefields are back!!!

Hello there! I am so sorry for not updating my blog lately. I have been too busy . I will be updating shortly. I have lots of news. We are now expecting our second child! We are so excited! I am a little over 13wks. Yeah!!!! I can't wait to find out what we're having. Ella Brooke doesn't know what to think. I'm not so sure that she really understands. Oh.... but she will. I will try really hard to update with pics this weekend. Till later......
