Our little cheerleader turns 1!

These are just a few of the highlights of Allie Claire's first birthday. We just had a small family gathering at our house with the family. We also watched the Auburn vs Georgia game to go along with the theme. Ha!Ha!

Allie Claire would be just fine with nothing but a balloon!

Our little cheerleader turns 1!

Can you tell that Allie got her hands on the cake a little early. ( After she ate all she wanted.... Matt and I dropped the thing!)

This is some gooooood stuff !

This picture is just precious! I love it! And I love her!

My football cupcakes

And her favorite gift of all..... a bow.

What a great team!

Ella Brooke in action heading to score a GOAL! Great job EB!

Ella Brooke and her BFF Hensley. Just being silly while waiting for the coach to put them in.

I must say that we say a world of differenc in Ella Brooke this year.  Let me just tell you how it was last year and you will understand where I am coming from with this. Matt and I had to drag her out on the field last year. Kicking and screaming and all! We only made it to 2 games last year. I would have lost my mind! She just was not ready. Soccer is very aggressive. Even at this young age. We teach our kids to share and be kind to one another and then throw them out on a soccer field. This totally confused Ella Brooke! Let's just say she got it this year!

We're Baaaaaack!

It's a bird....It's a plane........no..... it's Super Ella Brooke! She picked this costume out all by herself! Oh what a hoot she is! We went in Loftins looking for some ballerina costume and this is what we came out with. Ella Brooke tried on many costumes, but this is  THE ONE!  And boy did this make her daddy happy. so happy that he wore his Superman costume too!

I love this little piggy! This costume was Ella Brooke's first Halloween costume. I am soooo glad that I kept it for Allie Claire. A cute little piggy indeed!

Oh how I have missed blogging! Catching up on my blog is one of the many things on my "to do" list this summer. Can't wait to get started. Looks like I left off with summer stuff, so I am just gonna pick up on some of the highlights from Fall til now and then do a much better job at this blogging thing!

First surgery......Second Surgery

Ella Brooke's Surgery

Thanks to all of our family and friends for the prayers and checking up in Miss Priss. Ella Brooke did great with her surgery. The surgery lasted about 2hours. The longest process was getting the fat from her belly and then it had to go thru a cleaning process. Matt and I were allowed to go to the recovery room and sit by her bed as she waited for a room. She didn't want to eat or talk there for a bit. Her throat was a little dry and sore. We finally got her to sip on some juice. She quickly realized that she didn't have her panties on. That upset her the most I think. She got very upset. " They are pink and have watermelons on them" is what she said. Too funny! We got in a room about 2:30 that afternoon and by 9:00pm she was eating and drinking. To be honest, she was bouncing off the wall!!! Coming off the drugs. Hee! Hee! Dr. Grant came by to see us early the next morning and he was pleased with her belly and mouth. We could tell and immediate difference in her sounds. She was less nasal and where she use to wrinkle her nose, she was no longer doing that. We actually have not seen that yet. I still hear nasal sounds, but it is definatly reduced. Dr. G said it could be where we may need to inject a little more fat later. We return to Childrens on August 5th to meet with the speech team and Dr. G.
